The Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development (MFIDS), through the General Directorate of Social Inclusion, intends to train, in the coming days, about 118 social technicians from the twenty-two municipalities of the country, for a better management of support to families in extreme poverty.
The information was provided by the Director General of Social Inclusion, Ednalva Cardoso, during the opening of the training in family monitoring and productive inclusion, which runs from July 18 to 20, in the City of Praia, aimed at social technicians from the municipalities of Praia, Maio and Ribeira Grande de Santiago.
The training, according to the official, is part of the implementation of the human capital project, financed by the World Bank, and aims to “strengthen technical capacity on the digital platform, allowing the follow-up of families through closer and more effective family monitoring”.
Ednalva Cardoso assegurou que este ano duas mil famílias de todos os municípios do país vão ser contempladas com o projeto capital humano.
“Para este ano prevê-se abranger 2000 famílias com o acompanhamento familiar, vão receber o RSI que vai apoiar as famílias e trabalhar também a vertente da inclusão produtiva. Conseguir fazer a transferência de valores monetários para as famílias suprirem as questões mais básicas e depois o financiamento para adquirirem um kit para conseguir fazer a atividade geradora de rendimento”, disse.
Ainda segundo a Diretora Geral, o trabalho com a família é feito no seu todo, pois o objetivo do Governo de Cabo Verde é trabalhar as políticas integradas e conseguir erradicar a pobreza extrema.
