Following the entry into operation of the Electronic Invoice Platform, and in order to reinforce the use of this tool in government departments established in the Decree Law No. 79/2020, which approves the legal regime that establishes the electronic invoice and the electronically relevant tax documents, as well as the conditions for their issue, storage, and archiving, a clarification/training session on E-invoice was held on Monday, April 3, for employees of the Special Projects Management Unit.
According to the Coordinator, Nuno Gomes, from this session onwards UGPE will now be in a better position to support the beneficiaries in the use of this tool in the implementation of the activities listed to the projects.
This is a project developed by the Ministry of Finance and Business Development, which like other reforms made in the electronic invoicing system in the civil service, aims to incorporate management improvements in the processes of collection and/or payment of electronic invoices.
The importance of this session, which served to clarify several doubts and share ideas among the participants who attended in person and online, should be highlighted.
The Electronic Invoice, including the Invoice, Receipt-Invoice, Debit Note and Credit Note as being a document of digital existence, issued, filed and kept electronically, whose legal validity is guaranteed by the digital signature of the issuer and the authorization of use granted by the Tax Administration in real time.
