The Special Projects Management Unit and the Cape Verdean Institute for Gender Equality and Equity signed this morning, April 6th, the Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening the prevention and response to GBV/SA/AS.
The agreement was initialed by UGPE’s Coordinator, Nuno Gomes and by the President of ICIEG, Marisa Carvalho, in the presence of UGPE’s Environmental and Social Specialist, Larissa Varela.
The partnership established between the Special Projects Management Unit and the Cape Verdean Institute for Gender Equality and Equity for Gender Empowerment and Strengthening of GBV/ EAS/AS prevention and response, aims to execute concrete activities aimed at gender empowerment and strengthening of GBV/ EAS/AS prevention and response in the implementation of all projects in UGPE’s portfolio.
