Mission to support the concerted implementation of the Human Capital Project and the Social Inclusion Project

A team of World Bank experts is already in Cape Verde to carry out a technical mission to review the Human Capital (HC) Project and the progress of the implementation of the Social Inclusion Project (SIP) from April 17-28, 2023.

 

The mission meetings started this Monday, April 17th with key governmental stakeholders working in education, vocational training, social protection and housing rehabilitation, in order to prepare the Assistance Memories resulting from the main discussions and agreements reached during the mission for both projects.

 

The technical mission for the Human Capital Project will analyze the progress made in the implementation of the activities and consolidate the planning for the second semester.

 

While for the Social Inclusion project, the mission aims to monitor the progress of the implementation of the PIC and agree on actions to accelerate implementation, before the project’s closing date scheduled for April 30th of this year. In the sequence, information and contributions will also be gathered for the elaboration of the Completion Report and Implementation Results of the Social Inclusion Project.

 

The Special Projects Management Unit, represented by the manager of the Human Capital Project, Clarisse Silva, and the manager of the Social Inclusion Project, Ermelinda Lima integrates the WB team of specialists.
