On the fourth day of its mission, the World Bank team held this morning (09), a coordination meeting with the World Bank Representative in Cabo Verde, Eneida Fernandes and the Coordinator of the Special Projects Management Unit and Manager of the project, Nuno Gomes in order to review and accelerate the progress of the activities listed in the project, carried out by the beneficiaries under the monitoring of the Special Projects Management Unit.
In addition to the WB delegation, the meeting was also attended by the Financial Director of UGPE, José Andrade and the Procurement Officer, Irenalina Barbosa Vicente.
It is noteworthy that this project aims to strengthen the fiscal management related to state owned enterprises by strengthening the capacity to improve the monitoring and reporting on the financial and operational performance of public enterprises, stimulating reforms to reduce state support.
