Debriefing with the Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development

On Monday, February 24, the Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Elísio Freire, received the technical mission to evaluate the progress of the Human Capital and Social Inclusion Projects.

During the debriefing, the World Bank and the national team, evaluated positively the mission that took place between April 17th and 24th, however, despite the challenges, the results show considerable progress.

The meeting served to summarize the main issues addressed during the World Bank mission in the meetings held with the different sectors, including infrastructure, land-use planning and housing, education, and buildings, among others.

Following this, Fernando Elísio Freire admitted that the Government’s objective is that the Social Income for Inclusion – RSI, be a path for the social ascension of the families. For this, one of the measures was the creation of the MAIS Fund, which is directly linked to the dynamics of Tourism.
