Last day of the technical mission for the Human Capital and Social Inclusion projects

The World Bank team on its eighth day of the technical mission to assess the progress of the Human Capital Project and close the Social Inclusion Project, held working meetings with the beneficiaries on the morning of Monday, April 24, in order to discuss relevant issues.

 

On the table were under analysis issues related to the status of component 3.3 of the Human Capital project, which consists in improving access to basic services and living conditions of poor and vulnerable households, through housing rehabilitation, water and sanitation. The Special Projects Management Unit is also in charge of presenting a summary of the financial management, procurement, and environmental and social aspects of the #humancapital project.

 

On the other hand, taking into account the closing of the #socialinclusionproject, the results achieved in the project were also presented, regarding the main components and activities of the Social Inclusion Income and Productive Inclusion transfers. On the occasion they had the opportunity to watch testimonies of SII beneficiaries who were covered by this program.

 

The meetings were attended by a team from UGPE, led by the Coordinator, Nuno Gomes, experts from the WB via online and also beneficiary institutions and some SII beneficiaries living in the city of Praia.
