World Bank reviews progress achieved in the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West Africa project

In order to review the progress achieved so far in the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West Africa (HISWA) Project, the World Bank is conducting a technical mission from May 2-12 to analyze the project management, including procurement and financial management.

 

Accompanied by the project manager, José Moniz, the WB team started today, evaluation meetings with stakeholders and beneficiaries of the project, in order to agree on actions for the continued implementation of the project.

 

The agenda also includes a trip to the island of São Vicente for a field visit to monitor the land registration activities underway, and following this a meeting will be held with the National Institute for Land Management on the next steps.
