The Special Projects Management Unit received on Tuesday morning, May 30th, the visit of the World Bank’s Director of Procurement for the West and Central Africa Region, Kofi Awanyo.
After a guided tour of the UGPE’s facilities, the Managing Director and his entourage were able to learn about the dynamics of the Special Projects Management Unit in terms of project management, and also discuss the procurement challenges faced in project implementation.
The World Bank delegation, which also included the representative @Eneida Fernandes, was received by the Coordinator of UGPE, Nuno Gomes and team composed of project managers and also the Procurement department as well as the Financial Director.
