Meeting to Review the Activities of Family Support and Productive Inclusion

As part of the Social Inclusion Project (PIS), a meeting was held this Wednesday, April 26, in Praia, to review the activities of the social programs Family Monitoring and Productive Inclusion, with the municipal social team.

In addition to the balance of activities of the pilot phase of the implementation of the Family Monitoring and Productive Inclusion components in the municipalities covered by the project, this meeting will allow the sharing of experiences, as well as improvements to be incorporated in the expansion phase of the program in the Human Capital Project.

It should be noted that, taking into account the closing of the project scheduled for late April, this debriefing meeting with the municipal technical teams from several municipalities, namely, São Miguel, Santa Cruz, São Salvador do Mundo, Santa Catarina, Praia, São Vicente, Porto Novo and Ribeira Grande Santo Antão and São Filipe, is necessary.

The Productive Inclusion strand aims to promote the monitoring of households receiving Social Inclusion Income, supporting them in achieving productive and social inclusion and increasing their access to the labor market, autonomous work and income generation initiatives. And the Family Monitoring (AF) consists of a set of actions/activities to support and guide the family: in accessing essential services; in strengthening their potentialities; and in seeking IP.
