Human Capital Project shows significant progress after 15 months of implementation

On Wednesday, during the Steering Committee of the Human Capital Project, the main results achieved in the 15 months since the project was launched in May 2022 were presented.

With a view to improving access to basic services and offering relevant training for the Cape Verdean labor market, ambitious goals and continuous improvements in human development approaches are expected in the coming year. Constant adaptations and strategies are highlighted to continue pushing the project forward in 2024, in line with emerging needs.

The Human Capital Project has been a fundamental part of capacity building and professional development, thus playing a key role in achieving the pre-established goals.

The Activity Plan for 2024, presented here, will serve as a strategic guide to maintain cohesion and effectiveness in the programmed actions.

The event was attended by the Minister for Social Inclusion, Fernando Elísio, the Minister for Education, Amadeu Cruz, and the Secretary of State for Finance, Alcindo Mota.
