As part of the Digital Cape Verde project, an Awareness Workshop on Gender Equality, Gender-Based Violence, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Sexual Harassment was held this Friday, June 9, to raise awareness of professionals with responsibilities in the implementation of the activities of the Digital Cape Verde project assigned to different entities of the Digital ecosystem on Gender-Based Violence, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment, prevention and response measures.
During the workshop topics such as Gender Equality, Gender Based Violence as well as Sexual Crimes were presented, on the other hand, to raise awareness on the importance of social and environmental issues, namely, World Bank Environmental and Social Standards, Labor, Working Conditions, Complaints Management Mechanism, Codes of Conduct against GBV/CV.
Participating in this activity representing the Special Projects Management Unit were the Project Manager, Digital Cabo Verde, the Communication Specialist, Eng. Civil Engineer and the Procurement Assistant and also beneficiaries of the Digital Cabo Verde project participated in this activity.
