The training in basic cooking techniques is taking place in S\u00e3o Vicente, as part of the Social and Productive Inclusion Project.<\/span><\/p>\n

The training in basic cooking techniques focuses on entrepreneurship, promotion of self-income, hygiene and food safety, as well as health security and is initially aimed at a group of 127 beneficiaries of the RSI in the islands of Santiago, Santo Ant\u00e3o, S\u00e3o Vicente, and Fogo.<\/span><\/p>\n

The government of Cabo Verde, through the Ministry of Family, Inclusion, and Social Development, has defined public policies aimed at eliminating extreme poverty and reducing absolute poverty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Social and Productive Inclusion Project, financed by the World Bank, will benefit 2,000 (two thousand) families of the 4,500 (four thousand and five hundred) RSI beneficiary families.<\/span><\/p>\n

The objective of this project is to strengthen the potential of the beneficiary families of the RSI, which through a set of actions, procedures, instruments and mechanisms, in conjunction with the area of employment and professional training, enable them to carry out income-generating activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

So far, families have benefited in the municipalities of Santa Catarina, S\u00e3o Salvador do Mundo, Calheta de S\u00e3o Miguel, Santa Cruz, Praia, and S\u00e3o Filipe do Fogo, and are currently being benefited in S\u00e3o Vicente.<\/span><\/p>\n
