The Government of Cape Verde, through the Special Projects Management Unit and the Directorate-General for Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, held a National Workshop on Digital Strategy and Skills on Wednesday, January 28, marking the final phase of the presentation of the results of the project supported by the World Bank.
\nThe initiative brought together public decision-makers, representatives from the private sector, academia, civil society, and development partners, constituting a central moment for political and institutional ownership of the strategic recommendations and the Digital Skills Framework.
\nDuring the event, participants discussed ways to transform technical evidence into concrete public policies, structural programs, and measurable results, aligned with Cape Verde’s Digital Agenda. The workshop also reinforced interinstitutional alignment and consolidated the operationalization of the National Digital Skills Strategy for 2026\u20132030.
\nThe government highlighted the importance of a fair, efficient, and transformative digital transition, ensuring the participation of all citizens in the country’s digitization process.<\/p>\n
