Workshop for Players of the Digital Cape Verde Project/ WebLabs

In the framework of the Evaluation of the WebLab I Project and the Definition of the Conceptual Model for the 2nd Phase WebLab, the Ministry of Education, through the National Directorate of Education, held on the morning of November 17, a Workshop aimed at its internal audience and representatives of partner institutions of the Digital Cape Verde project.

This is an initiative that aims to stimulate the work in progress, for the design of the Conceptual Model and alignment of strategy proposals for the 2nd Phase of the WebLab project.

Representatives from various institutions attended the workshop, namely, directors of technical and secondary schools from the Ministry of Education, technicians from the National Directorate, NOSI, the Technology Park, the World Bank and the Directorate-General of Telecommunications and Digital Economy.

It should be noted that the Government’s ambition with this strategy is to have a new model capable of taking the WebLabs into the classroom context, in order to include all students in the educational system, so the presence and contribution of all was essential for the expected results.

As part of the Digital Cape Verde project and funded by the World Bank, this phase of conceptualization and design of the WebLabs II model, classroom context, aims to contribute to reducing the digital divide, facilitating access to equipment and connectivity, knowledge and use of technologies.
