Regarding projects, a financing agreement for the Human Capital project was signed with the World Bank in the amount of 26 million dollars. This project aims to focus mainly on improving the education system in Cape Verde, but also the promotion of vocational training, as well as promoting social inclusion.
In the latter, funding is also included for the rehabilitation of social housing, and interventions at the level of urban upgrading within the perimeter of such social housing. And there was also the promise of approval for financing a project to re-launch the tourism sector, in the amount of US$35 million, with additional financing of around US$7 million.
