The Ministry of Education, through the National Directorate of Education, in October, with the aim of further deepening knowledge and preparing in the future the technical and methodological conditions for the implementation of large-scale evaluation, will hold a Seminar on International Programs for Assessment of PISA and PASEC Learning.
The aforementioned seminar will have the sharing of experience of an international consultant in external evaluation and a set of knowledge and experiences about PISA and PASEC, with the other directors of the Ministry of Education, the Inspectors General of Education, Advisors to the Minister and technicians of the central services.
On this occasion, the Operational Plan for the participation of Cabo Verde in international assessment programs PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) and PASEC (Program for the Analysis of Educational Systems of CONFEMEN) will be developed.
It should be noted that this is an activity that is part of the Human Capital Project through subcomponent 1.3 (Monitoring learning outcomes and their use to improve the quality of education) which aims to strengthen the evaluation system of the MED through the implementation of national assessment programs (measured) and participation in international programs such as PISA and PASEC.
