On Monday (25), a team made up of representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Housing through the #DireçãoGeraldaHabitação (DGH), the Special Projects Management Unit and the inspection (ICV), was on the ground to visit the rehabilitation works of the houses in Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 located in the Safende and Calabaceira area, Praia, as part of the #CapitalHumano project.
With the aim of checking the progress of the works on site, the team found that the progress is remarkable as they had the opportunity to closely evaluate the positive results of this project, which is effectively transforming people’s lives.
The rehabilitation of these houses will not only improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries, but will also strengthen the residential infrastructure of these communities, providing a safer and more comfortable environment for everyone involved.
This initiative represents a significant step forward in promoting the well-being of local communities and reflects the Cape Verde government’s ongoing commitment to improving housing conditions and the quality of life of its citizens.
It is important to note that these rehabilitation works are part of the implementation of subcomponent 3.3 of the Human Capital Project, whose aim is to improve access to basic services and the living conditions of vulnerable families in selected neighborhoods in the municipality of Praia.
