Work has begun on the rehabilitation of houses in the neighborhoods of São Pedro and Pensamento. Work has begun in these neighborhoods, located in Praia, as part of the Human Capital Project.
To check on the progress of the work, a team from the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE), led by the manager of the Human Capital Project, Clarisse Silva, accompanied by technicians from the Directorate-General for Housing (DGH), carried out an inspection visit on February 21. The aim was to assess the condition of the houses that will be rehabilitated, paying special attention to families in groups 1 and 2 of the Single Social Registry in these neighborhoods.The Housing Rehabilitation project is part of the Human Capital Project, covering 22 houses in the São Pedro neighborhood and 22 houses in the Pensamento neighborhood.
It is crucial to note that the rehabilitation works are aligned with the implementation of subcomponent 3.3 of the Human Capital Project. The purpose of this subcomponent is to improve access to basic services and the living conditions of vulnerable families in selected neighborhoods in the municipality of Praia.
