On Thursday (19), the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE) and the World Bank team paid a visit to the houses that had been rehabilitated in Praia as part of the Human Capital Project.
During the visit, the team thoroughly analyzed the improvements implemented in the homes, highlighting the tangible advances generated by the project.
The wide-ranging Human Capital Project aims to improve housing conditions and facilitate access to basic services for vulnerable families, with a special focus on youth and women.
The emphasis on habitability and access to basic services reflects the joint commitment of the Government of Cape Verde and the World Bank to strengthening communities, creating a more dignified and inclusive environment for the neediest sections of the population.
