As part of the Budget Management of State-Owned Enterprises project, a joint mid-term review mission of the Government and the World Bank for the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Budget Management Project will take place from September 12 to 16, 2022.
This mission to Cabo Verde and aims to conduct the mid-term review of the project, and includes the following points of analysis.
(i) a detailed analysis of the progress of the project implementation towards the achievement of the development objectives;
(ii) an in-depth assessment of the implementation progress of the project components and subcomponents, including the Public-Private Partnership grant;
(iii) reviewing the adequacy of fiduciary and social safeguard provisions; and
(iv) to discuss and agree on the adjustments and action plan necessary to keep the project relevant to current development challenges in the SOE sector.
During the mission, the WB team will hold several meetings with the main Government stakeholders and other stakeholders linked to this area of intervention.
