On June 26, the contract for the construction of the Ribeira das Patas Health Center was signed, with an execution period of 10 months.
It is worth noting that the Government of Cape Verde, through the UGPE, signed the contract with the firm that won the public tender, Const-ROL Projetos e Fiscalização, which has already started building this new hospital infrastructure, representing a significant gain for the community of Ribeira das Patas and the entire parish of Santo André.
The actual consignment/start-up ceremony was attended by the Coordinator of the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE), Eng. Nuno Gomes and the Mayor of Porto Novo, Dr. Aníbal Fonseca, representatives of the Contractor and the Inspection Team. The project is funded by the World Bank, as part of the “Cape Verde COVID-19 Emergency Response” Project, implemented by UGPE.
