The Technical Committee of the Resilient Tourism and Blue Economy Development Project met this Tuesday, February 21, to discuss issues related to the implementation of the project, namely the presentation of the report of the activities of the year 2022 and the Activity Plan for the year 2023.
The meeting was chaired by the President of the Committee, Gilson Pina and included the intervention of the Coordinator of the Project Management Unit, Nuno Gomes.
Among the topics discussed were the strengthening of institutional articulation, the improvement of the quality of the TOR and the time of the evaluations of the tenders listed to the project.
During the meeting some important points inherent to the World Bank mission foreseen for next month were mentioned, having as agenda meetings with beneficiaries of the project.
It is important to highlight that this committee is a technical support body to the Special Projects Management Unit, created with the objective of ensuring the correct articulation between the UGPE and the project beneficiaries, having a support and facilitation role for the good execution of the activities and the fulfillment of the proposed objectives and goals.
