Cape Verde participates in the Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB)

The Cape Verdean delegation is led by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development, and Governor of the AfDB, Dr. Olavo Correia, and is attended by the Coordinator of the UGPE, Mr. Nuno Gomes.

 

In this edition, “Africa’s Transformation, the African Development Bank Group and the Reform of the Global Financial Architecture” will be at the center of debate at the meetings, which comprise the 59th Annual Assembly of the African Development Bank and the 50th Annual Meeting of the African Development Fund.

 

Together, these three thematic axes address key challenges for leveraging Africa’s sustainable and inclusive development, with the AfDB Group playing a central role in this process. The deliberations and takeaways from this Annual Meeting will have significant impacts on the future of the African continent.

 

During his stay in Kenya, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development, and AfDB Governor, Dr. Olavo Correia, will hold bilateral meetings with various development partners
