Meeting with beneficiary institutions on the status of Productive Inclusion and Family Support activities

The Special Project Management Unit (UGPE), the General Directorate for Social Inclusion (DGIS), the Employment and Professional Training Center (IEFP) of Santo Antão, the Porto Novo City Council and the NGO MORABI met on June 20 in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, to take stock of the Productive Inclusion and Family Support activities under the Human Capital project.

 

The meeting was led by the manager of the Human Capital Project, Maria Clarisse Silva, and was attended by the specialists in Productive Inclusion, Ivandro Correia and in Family Support, Anabela Fernandes from DGIS, and representatives of the beneficiary institutions. In addition to the meeting, visits were made to some of the beneficiaries of Productive Inclusion to see the income-generating activities in situ.

 

It is important to note that this project falls under Component 3, the aim of which is to provide critical support to young people and women in poor and vulnerable households in order to contribute to their better employability through social and productive inclusion, better housing conditions and access to basic services.
