Harmonization Project Beneficiaries Meet for Mid-Term Evaluation

On Wednesday, October 4, the beneficiaries of the Project for the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West Africa (PHMEAO) and the World Bank mission met to review the progress made so far. This meeting, which took place in the context of the project’s Implementation Support Mission, had the main objective of evaluating the progress made and monitoring the activities underway, as well as planning the next steps.

During the meeting, the ongoing activities were thoroughly evaluated, highlighting the collection, analysis and dissemination of data as a fundamental part of drawing up effective strategies. This meeting aims not only to analyze the path taken so far, but also to shape the future of the project’s implementation.

It should be noted that institutions such as the National Institute of Territorial Management, the National Institute of Statistics, the Institute of Sport and Youth, the Institute of the Sea, the National Planning Directorate, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health took part in this meeting.

The exchange of ideas between the beneficiaries, which include key institutions in various areas, plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of the project, allowing for a comprehensive view of the needs and challenges faced. This meeting marks a continued commitment to progress and excellence in the implementation of the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West Africa Project.
